As autumn is very nearly upon us the weather has certainly changed. As leaves fall from the trees in great numbers, in the garden this week I spied a migrant hawker, which was very exciting...if you like that kind of thing.
I also spent some time in the cemetery. No decent pictures were taken, none whatsoever, but I did see a green woodpecker. I seem to have accidentally discovered one of their favourite hideouts. Hopefully I'll remember exactly where it was, (it's like a labyrinth in there), and will return with pictures of woodpeckers sometime soon. I'm not holding my breath.
I also found another heron picture that I didn't delete!
Until next time,
Claude
